Landon had his first Sea World experience over the last two days, and it was such an adventure! We drove down to San Antonio during Landon's nap on Sunday and arrived at Sea World around 2:30. After parking, putting on loads of sunscreen, and entering the park, we immediately went to the awesome Dolphin/Beluga Whale show. Landon didn't quite know what to make of it, but he definitely liked the divers. We then ventured over to Dolphin cove to see the dolphins up close. Landon decided that he didn't want to feed them, so we just looked and took pictures. He thought it was funny when the dolphins blew water out of their blow holes. We then looked at the sharks and eels, which was a great opportunity to cool off. Next, we traveled to the sea lions and this is where Landon fell in love. For some reason, he really took to the sea lions and we fed them fish. The sea lions had fun playing (will post video later) and there were several pups. After seeing the penguins, we went to the Shamu show. My favorite part was seeing the baby killer whale and of course, the amazing jumps. The Maxwell's were tired and hot at this point so we went to the hotel for dinner and swimming. Monday morning, we went back to Sea World for more fun! We focused on the water park during Day 2. Landon and Greg had a blast on the big ship spraying water everywhere. We finished our trip with the Sea Lion, Otter, and Walrus show...by far Landon's favorite show! Overall, it was a successful vacation. We're looking forward to going back in the fall when it is a bit cooler!
